2022 Academic Year First Semester Dissertation Evaluation Key Points Guide

1. [On the library's website] Upload of Dissertations: June 22, 2022 (Wed) to July 6, 2022 (Wed) 16:30

* Please note that login is only available during the submission period, so adherence to the deadline is crucial.

a. Upload of the full text of the dissertation

1) Upload the full text of the dissertation to "My Space → My Information → Dissertation Submission (dCollection)" on the library's website.

* Upload the same document file as the final version of the dissertation.

2) For detailed information regarding dissertation upload, please refer to the Dissertation Submission (dCollection) section on the library's website.

b. Print the 'Dissertation Submission Confirmation' and 'Copyright Agreement Form (Permission to Use Material).'

1) Print the 'Dissertation Submission Confirmation' and 'Copyright Agreement Form' from the submission site after receiving verification completion SMS/email from the library's dissertation personnel.

c. Inquiries:

2. [At the designated library] Submission of the Final Dissertation: July 4, 2022 (Mon) to July 6, 2022 (Wed) 16:30

a. During the specified period, submit the final dissertation and 'Copyright Agreement Form' to the designated library and receive a stamp on the 'Dissertation Submission Confirmation.'

b. Designated Libraries for Dissertation Submission

1) Humanities and Social Sciences: Central Library (New Building) 2nd Floor Room 203 (Tel. 02-3290-1472, 1482)

2) Natural Sciences/Health Sciences: Science Library 3rd Floor Room 313 (Tel. 02-3290-4226)

3) Medicine: Medical Library 3rd Floor Data Room (Tel. 02-2286-1263)

4) Sejong Campus: Academic Information Center 2nd Floor Sujeo Sorting Room (Tel. 044-860-1805)

c. Number of Copies to Submit

 - Master's, Doctoral, Integrated Master's/Doctoral Programs: 4 hardcover copies (6 copies for Law, 3 copies for Medicine, 3 copies for Sejong Campus)

• Common Requirement: Submit printed copies (copies) containing the stamp (signature) of the examination committee.
• Submit the same final dissertation as uploaded during the dissertation upload process.
• Date on the (outer) cover of the final dissertation: August 2022 *Do not include student ID number on the (outer) cover.

3. Submission of Confirmation Documents for the Final Dissertation to the Affiliated University Administrative Office: July 4, 2022 (Mon) to July 6, 2022 (Wed) 16:30

a. Submit documents to the affiliated university administrative office.

1) Copy of the inner page of the final dissertation (1 each of the title page and the examination completion endorsement page)

• Title page: Includes the supervising professor's name, dissertation title, and submission date.
• Examination completion endorsement page: Endorsed by the chairman of the examination committee and committee members.

2) 'Dissertation Submission Confirmation' (obtain library seal after submitting booklet to the library)

3) 'Plagiarism Prevention Program Inspection Confirmation'

• See attached files for information and manual regarding submission of the plagiarism prevention program (Turnitin) inspection confirmation.

b. No overdue examination documents or final dissertations will be accepted, and failure to submit within the deadline will result in disqualification for the current semester's dissertation evaluation, so please adhere to the deadline (submission outside the specified period is not allowed).

 

c. The 'Original Final Dissertation' must be kept by the student.

 

※ Wearing a mask is mandatory when submitting the dissertation to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
