Date and Time: May 20, 2023 (Saturday) 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Location: Room 331, Asan Science Building

Candidates for the cumulative exam are requested to bring a scientific calculator (smartphone calculators are not allowed). Please enter the exam room by 09:50 AM on May 20 (Sat). Entry will not be permitted after exam papers are distributed.

Registration Period and Location: May 8, 2023 (Monday) – May 12, 2023 (Friday) at the Chemistry Department Office

* Please strictly adhere to the registration deadline.

* Note that this cumulative exam is held one week earlier due to scheduling issues in the Chemistry Department Office.

Organic Chemistry Exam Scope

Textbook: Organic Chemistry, Sixth Edition (Smith), Chapters 15–17, including practice problems.

• Chapter 15: Benzene and Aromatic Compounds
• Chapter 16: Reaction of Aromatic Compounds
• Chapter 17: Introduction to Carbonyl Chemistry; Organometallic Reagents; Oxidation and Reduction
