Registration of Completion Research Students for the 2022 Spring Semester in General Graduate Schools

1. Completion Research Students

A. According to the Completion Research Student System implemented since 2014, all completion students must pay tuition fees starting from the 2015 Spring Semester to maintain the status of "Completion Research Student."

B. The registration period for completion students is the same as that for enrolled students. After the expiration of the (regular/final) registration period, the academic status of registered completion students changes to "Completion Research (Enrolled)" (automatic transition).

2. Completion Research Registration Fee (2% of the tuition fee by department)

A. Target: Completion students and those expected to complete in March 2022.

B. Registration Period *Strict adherence to the registration period (registration outside the period is not allowed)

C. Failure to pay the completion research registration fee will result in the inability to use services such as Blackboard and the library during the respective year/semester.

• Unable to take courses such as "Human Rights and Gender Equality Education" and "Research Ethics Education" on Blackboard.

3. Degree Application Registration Fee (7% of the tuition fee by department)

A. Target: Completion students who have applied for thesis submission *Excluding enrolled students and permanent completions.

B. Pay 7% of the tuition fee or an additional 5% if already paid 2% during the regular registration period.

• Completion students must register in the semester they undergo thesis evaluation, and they must apply online for evaluation, resulting in a tuition fee invoice of 7%.

C. During the semester of thesis evaluation, completion students must register, and they must apply online for evaluation, resulting in a tuition fee invoice of 7%.

1) Internet application period for thesis evaluation: April 18th (Monday) ~ April 21st (Thursday) 16:00 (scheduled)

2) Application method: Log in to the portal (KUPID) ￫ Academic Record/Graduation ￫ Apply for Thesis Evaluation

D. Payment period for degree application registration fee: 2022 May 2nd (Monday) ~ 2022 May 3rd (Tuesday) 16:00 (scheduled)

E. Prepaid participants of the degree application registration fee among those who completed before 2014

1) Semester of thesis evaluation

• Those eligible for a 0 won registration fee must visit KEB Hana Bank (Korea University Branch, Hana Square Branch) with a 0 won invoice during the degree application registration fee payment period if they want to register with 0 won after applying for online thesis evaluation.

• If they pay the degree application registration fee but fail the thesis evaluation and request a re-evaluation, they must repay the degree application registration fee.

​2) In semesters other than the thesis evaluation semester, they must pay 2% of the departmental tuition fee.
