[Gwajeong Lee Jong-hwan Educational Foundation] 2023 Academic Year 1st Semester Graduate Student Scholarship Application Guide

a. Selection Details

1) Eligibility: Current students in the second semester of the 2022 academic year, and students expected to enroll in the 2023 spring semester, limited to general graduate schools.

2) Academic Performance: Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 4.0/4.5 or higher in all previous coursework.
   ※ For Master's and integrated Master's-PhD programs, the GPA is based on undergraduate coursework; for PhD programs, it is based on the cumulative GPA of both undergraduate and Master's coursework.

3) Age Limit:
   a) For those entering Master's or integrated Master's-PhD programs in 2022: Must be 30 years old or younger (born on or after January 1, 1993)
   b) For those entering PhD programs: No age limit

4) Recommendation request for students who will be enrolled in the 2023-1 semester.

5) Number of Recipients: To be determined (selection to be made directly by the foundation considering the scale of the foundation's operations).

6) Scholarship Duration: Up to 4 regular semesters.

7) Scholarship Amount: Approximately 5,500,000 KRW per semester (amount may vary).

1) Application form

2) One self-introduction letter

3) Academic-related documents (note that the required documents differ for Master's, integrated Master's-PhD, and PhD programs).

4) One certificate of language proficiency

   * The department will select and recommend students, and recommended students will need to submit additional documents.

c. Document Submission Deadline

   By 4:00 PM on Friday, December 9, 2022.
