○ Qualifications

1) Common Requirements: Qualifications above assistant professor level as prescribed by Article 16 of the Higher Education Act, and not falling under disqualifications as defined in Article 33 of the National Civil Service Act

 

2) Eligible applicants must meet at least one of the following conditions

- PhD in Chemistry or related field

- 2+ years of research or teaching experience after obtaining a Master's degree in Chemistry or related field

- 4+ years of research or teaching experience after obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field

 

○ Terms of Employment

1) 12 hours per week of general chemistry lab teaching (3 hours per subject)

2) Full-time teaching of general chemistry lab

3. Consent for criminal background check or the criminal background report

* Background check report must be issued within 6 months of the appointment date

** If a consent for background check is submitted, the department will request a background check from the local police station

4. Course syllabus (if applicable)

5. Additional documents required based on specific recruitment needs

- Activity plan (for invited professors), Research project agreement (for industry-academic cooperation professors)

- Dual employment agreement issued by the applicant’s primary institution (for dual professors), Employment certificate (for adjunct/guest professors)

* For those only teaching, the course syllabus is required, but the activity plan is unnecessary

** Invited professors must submit both the course syllabus and the activity plan

- If any part of the application or submission documents is found to be false or incorrect, the application will be nullified, and if discovered after appointment, the appointment will be canceled.
